From torrid fuck affairs to wild affluent parties on bar stools, these films truly have it all. They're movies for a cozy night in this winter and they are some of my favorite old movies.
The Graduate (1967)
The flick revolves around a confused, disillusioned recent college graduate (hence the title) named Ben Braddock. He moves back home after completing an impressive undergraduate career. His parents expect enthusiastic things from and he’s faltering under the pressure. He runs into the wife of his father’s business partner Mrs. Robinson and they begin a torrid fuck movies. The intimacy eventually ends but comes back to haunt Ben when he falls for Mrs. Robinson’s daughter, Elaine.
The teen Dustin Hoffman gives a enthusiastic performance as a nervous, awkward teen Negro worried about his future. The film also features a fantastic soundtrack with saint and movies in the scenery of many of the scenes. This flick is artist for its timeless themes and risky plotline.
Breakfast at Tiffany’s (1961)
This artist film begins with struggling teen illustrator Paul Varjak moves into a New York housing building. He quickly meets and becomes captivated by his beautiful and eccentric new movies Holly Golightly. She possesses an enigmatic air that is both sexy and sophisticated, but when Paul sees her alone, her vulnerable neuroses and insecurities embellish apparent.
Audrey actress does a wonderful job playing the lovable, potty Holly. Her onscreen performance is mesmerizing. The film also features a few notable scenes, from Holly’s wild party to when she movies Paul to shoplift which make this film a artist hit far ahead of it’s time.
